The Single Room with Private Bathroom offers a cozy setup, perfect for solo travelers looking for a quiet retreat. Having a private bathroom is a plus, ensuring convenience and a bit of extra privacy during your stay.
The temperature on the fourth floor can get quite warm, with only one window opening, making it a bit stuffy. Opening and closing the fiddly doors took more time than expected due to the keys getting stuck, which can test your patience when you just want to relax. the lack of a headboard and the bed's position directly in front of the window made reading in bed uncomfortable, compounded by blinds that don’t fully block out light at night.

Solo travelers welcome
The size of the room and shower room was great. I wanted something basic for 3 nights and this was bigger than some uni halls.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive. but still decent.

The location was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the room could use an update with better pillows and a proper towel rail. It was also quite noisy at times, and the shower made the floor very wet. good value for a brief stay.

The shared kitchen offers ample space and is well-equipped for cooking, making it a good spot for those who like to prepare their own meals. the room provides lots of natural light, creating a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation after a long day.
It can get quite warm on the fourth floor, with only one window that opens, making it tough to cool down at times. Accessing the room was a bit frustrating, with the key getting stuck frequently. it took minutes of wiggling just to get through the door. The bathroom could definitely use a more thorough cleaning, especially around the disabled aid units, which looked a bit worse for wear. I also noticed that hallway noise could be disruptive, especially when doors thudded closed, affecting my sleep.

I had a wonderful time exploring the nearby Brighton Beach, which is just a short 18-minute walk away, and the famous Lanes area, packed with shops and cafes, only 1.5 km from the hotel, perfect for leisurely strolls around the city. the accommodation provided a welcoming shared kitchen which made my stay all the more enjoyable as I could prepare snacks for those days spent out and about.
